Les aiguilles de Bavella are an exceptional site with ocher and golden reflections. They culminate at more than 1600 m.
The panorama here is impressive: the Ravin de l'Arcade, 500 m deep, with the sea in the background. Returning to the Velaco pass, take another rocky corridor south and climb to the summit of the promontory to the plateau. The Campanile can be seen if you lean to the right above the void: it's a 70 m granite needle.

Access
from Ghisonaccia take the RN198, just before Solenzara, after the bridge, turn right to reach the Bavella pass 30 km further. Park at the parking lot of the Bavella Pass.
The departure is next to the oratory of Notre Dame des Neiges. Take the GR20 (red and white markings), then turn right and follow the yellow double traces of the alpine variant. By a small delicate you'll arrive at Punta di u Pargulu. Continue after the summit to join the GR and once you get there, turn left to return to Bavella following the red and white markings. It is possible to make only the top of the punta di u Pargulu by making a return trip, it will then be necessary to count four hours instead of seven.
