After more than an hour of walking you arrive at the Capu di Muru tower. Dating from the sixteenth century, this tower was used to watch over Ajaccio Bay and the city. It has been restored by the Conservatoire du Littoral, so you get a true glimpse of the life of the guards in the tower. The path that takes you there is very pleasant as it offers varied landscapes, from the azure sea tothe forest roads among oaks and evergreens. You can park just beyond Acqua Doria, in the town of Coti-Chiavari.
