The Tower of Caldanu was a Genoese lookout tower located west of Calvi, on la punta Caldanu. From 1765 the tower served as a location of a marketplace for the garrison of Marbeuf. Originally the form of the tower was square, but one of its three sides collapsed. Now you can see inside the old recreation room and the various floors of the tower. From the platform, the panorama of Calvi and its citadel as well as the tip of the Revellata is superb.
