Road access

From the road T 10 you must take the road D 268 towards Bavella. You can park on an embankment on your right, 6.5 km after the T 10 road.

Description

From the car park, you must take a path that will take you to your destination after a short walk of about 15 minutes. This path is well-maintained and well signposted, but you should take good walking shoes because the vegetation could be treacherous.
The natural pools of Solenzara, which is a small coastal river that rises at 1451 metres above sea level, are among the most famous of the island and their fame is well deserved. You will have the impression of being at the seaside because the beach of Solenzara is wonderful and the water is quite warm!
There are several natural pools to discover around this beach. Do not hesitate to explore the area: some of the pools are very popular during the summer season but others are almost deserted because they are a little more difficult to reach. You will often find rocks that allow you to dive directly into the pools!
Locals often complain about the rubbish left lying around by tourists during the summer: please respect this wonderful place!
