Road access
The road-trip from Corte to Casanova takes 15 minutes for 12.8 kilometres. You must take the T 20 road and the D 623 one. Casanova is located at 77.9 kilometres from Ajaccio and at 76.4 kilometres from Bastia.

Description
The "Sentiers du Patrimoine" (an initiative of the Corsican Environment Office) have been thought to allow people to discover the history, the architectural treasures, the flora and the fauna of the island. For example, this path will allow you to discover the architectural treasures of three villages: Casanova, Riventosa and Poggio-di-Venaco.
Along the path you will run into several explanatory panels which you can read to find more information about the architectural treasures, the past and the evolution of these three villages and of their inhabitants.
At Casanova you will run into several fountains and during the walk you can pick walnuts, apples and plums, at Poggio-di-Venaco there are several buildings made of granite and local schist and also a llama farm, and at Riventosa you will find u mulinu di Masgiolu (which is more than two hundred years old) and the oven of the village.... This walk, which is perfect for families with children, deserves the title of "Sentier du Patrimoine".
