The village of Carbini suffered greatly during its history: it was completely razed during the barbaric invasions and was at the heart of the bloody crusade against the "Giovannali", a religious movement which was repressed during the 14th century. The Pisan church that you will discover in the very heart of the village has a single nave, flanked by an isolated bell tower NE of the apse.

Access by car
Go to Carbini and leave the car at the northern exit, near the Pisan Church.

Itinerary
After visiting the church, with its single nave flanked by a secluded bell tower north of the apse, go back down to the village and follow the signs that will guide you to the points of interest across the village. During the walk, you will discover a whole series of panels related to the history of the village and its family, as well as an orientation table.
