From Sartène, 10km away, take the D165 until Ghjunchettu (420m of altitude). Park the vehicle on the embankment in front of the cemetery. The start of the hike is on the other side of the road (information board with trek route).
Itinerary
The first 200 meters require you to pay attention because you have to follow the arrows. Go to the EAST until Bocca di Piavona (508m). On the left is a private plot with 2 small houses. Then go SOUTH, where the ground will be clearer with a smaller thicket. Take the climb along the barbed wire fence to the Pasciale di Sarra (hamlet of the ridge which was inhabited by fifty people in the 19th century and where there are only ruins). Take the slight ascent to the Pintone lookout and admire the view...
For the return, go SOUTHEAST, go down and cross 2 walls separating two plots. Keep on walking an oak forest up to a bread oven (you will discover a large flat stone which was used to grind the grains, and lower the "arghja" and its stone to crush the cobs). Finally, go NORTH to reach the (dry) creek and reach the bottom part of the village. After the church, turn right to the starting point.
