This beach is located south of Caldarello and is accessible via dirt roads. It has a certain charm for its maritime landscapes with the beautiful boulders scattered around it (the famous climbing blocks of Punta Capineru).
Behind this point opens the long bay of Figari, very close to an agglomeration: Pianottoli-Caldarello.
Access
Pianotolli-Caldarello is located in the extreme south of Corsica, about halfway along the national road from Bonifacio to Sartène.
Once arrived in Caldarello, take the road that leaves in front of the town hall, then right towards the Kévano camping. In a bend to the left (just after Villa Capinera, green gate on the left), turn right onto the dirt track. Continue as far as possible towards the peak, until the end of the line.
This track is the only one which goes to the Punta. Climbing lovers can climb all year long, but the ideal periods are still the off-peak seasons, to benefit from more temperate conditions. Some caves allow to climb in the shade or sheltered from the rain, according to the season.
