Porto is a hamlet on the west coast of southern Corsica. It is the seascape of the village of Ota. Therefore, it is often linked to Ota. The village is called Ota-Porto or Porto-Ota. It is at a distance of almost 31 km north of Cargèse via the D81.

Porto is located in the center of the Gulf of Porto, classified World Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, including: Porto, the coves of Piana, Girolata and the Scandola nature reserve.

Porto is known to be the starting point for many tourist, cultural and maritime activities. The port of Porto is a fishing port, but here you can also take a boat to visit the peninsula of Scandola, a classified natural reserve.

For a more cultural visit, the Genoese Tower of Porto is located 45 meters above sea level, on a rock overlooking the mouth of Porto. This fortified building from the 16th century has been classified as a historic monument since 1946.
