The Saint-François beach is located just before the citadel and near the port, Boulevard Pascal Rossini. It is dominated by a beautiful promenade lined with palm trees on Boulevard Lantivy. It is one of Ajaccio's best situated beaches because of its proximity to the city center, and we highly recommend reaching it by foot. Parking is difficult and paid (parking meter). Opt for the Diamant underground parking 100 m away.
Near the citadel and the cathedral, you will find the widest beach. Towards the Sanguinaires road, the beach becomes narrower.
