The beach of Lava is divided into a large sandy beach on the south and a rocky coast dotted with small coves in the north-western side.
Nearly 1 km long, it is very popular and many restaurants and food stalls have opened there overtime. A place of rest for lovers of idleness, it also has play areas for children. From July 1st, this space quickly becomes a reference point in the region of Ajaccio. Maintained each year by the Agglomerated Community of the Ajaccian Country, the beach is equipped, marked out and clean. A first aid and surveillance station as well as chemical toilets and carpets for people with reduced mobility have been installed. It is located north of the Gulf of Ajaccio, between the peak of Capu di Fenu and the peak of Pelusella. You can access it d from Sagone, towards Ajaccio.
After 23 km, turn on the D381 where you will find several parking spots on the beach.
