Popular panoramic peak on Cap Corse
Monte Stello offers a fabulous view of wide areas of Northern Corsica and Cap Corse. The ascent follows the well-marked path from Pozzo and the hiking path to Silgaggia is an alternative for the descent.
Starting point: at the car park 100m from the main square of Pozzo, 277m, a friendly village located above Erbalunga, on the east coast of Cap Corse.
Height difference: D+/-1100m
Grade: easy route along a well-marked trail for physically fit walkers.
Refreshment and accommodation: bar/restaurant in Pozzo and Silgaggia, hotels and campsites on the coast.
