Panoramic rocky peak with a small bouldering area for climbers

This mountain has something for everyone: for the hiker, an easily-reached viewpoint with an awe-inspiring view of the craggy peaks gathered around the Bavella pass as well as a bird’s-eye view of the east coast; for the rock climber, some nice little bolt-protected routes on the 20 metre high south face. After completing the route, there is time enough for a refreshing dip in the Solenzara stream (about 6km west of Solenzara) or in the sea.

Starting point: Belvédère la Penna, 400m, in the mountain village of Sari-Solenzara, 7.5km southwest of Solenzara.

Height difference: D+200m D-210m

Grade: easy walk via a distinct footpath.
