The charming little village of Monacia is only 4 km from the sea and is surrounded by nature. The Uomo di Cagna mountain is located just above the village and offers wonderful walks. Very close to Monacia, recent archaeological excavations have made it possible to discover the first habitat of the island, dating back to 7000 to 9000 BC.
