To reach the swimming spot at Macini from Ghisonaccia, take the N198 towards Bonifacio. Staying on the D244 towards Migliacciaru, then the D145 to Pietrapola, you will find the road to a spa and the D445 to Ania. You should then stay on the D445 and pass a Gite d'étape (a sort of B&B), a shooting range and a sports field. From there you continue on foot, along the ruins and cross the Macini river on the bridge. In about ten minutes, you will reach the deepest basin near a waterfall along the bed of the river.
