Road access
From the D 81 road between Calvi and Porto, you must take the D 351 road towards the village of Manso. You can park your car on the Truccia parking area. Pay attention because parking at the roadside is forbidden during the summer season (from 15 June to 16 September).
Description
To reach the island of Fango from the Truccia parking area, you must return to the main road and retrace the road back for about seven hundred metres. When you will see a small stone house you must take the path which starts to the right: you should catch a glimpse of one EDF pylon. Then you must take the path which starts to your left and which will take you to a large natural pool. This area is wonderful: the valley of Fango is a protected nature reserve and it is part of four natural areas of ecological, faunal and floristic interest. If you love walking then you can reach the bridge of Tuarelli by foot: this small walk will let you to explore and to enjoy this nature reserve.
To reach the beach of Truccia you must take one of the paths from the Truccia parking area: after a short walk of two minutes you will reach a pebble beach and a natural pool where you can take a swim. You should have a look around: you will find another natural pool a little higher up. This natural pool is very nice, but it is less crowded than the first one.
