Description
Perched at the foot of the Montegrosso massif, Feliceto is a mountain village in a corner of the Reginu valley – the Reginu is a small coastal river in Haute-Corse.
This walk is very easy and will allow you to discover several Genoese bridges in the Reginu valley. After having parked your car, you must reach the main square of the village and walk down towards the church of St Nicolas. Just before reaching the church, you must take the stairs on your left which will allow you to reach the small road which passes just below the church. Keep walking until you reach the small chapel of St Roccu – a very popular saint in Corsica.
Then you must take the path on your left that leads to a small bridge that will allow you to cross a small stream. The path descends gently and leads to a path which takes you close to an old mill.
At the next crossroads keep walking straight ahead: this path is quite flat and passes through old gardens. Then you must descend towards a second Genoese bridge that allows you to cross the Reginu. On the other side of the river, you must take a path which takes you back to the chapel of St Roccu and to the starting point.
