Road access
The road-trip from Ajaccio to Bocognano takes 52 minutes for 45.4 km. You must take the D 11 B road and the T 20 one. You can park your car in a small car park near the Sellola bridge, which crosses the river of Gravona between Vizzavona and Bocognano.

Description
This is a perfect walk for families with children: they will be happy to see pigs and donkeys when they arrive. You should also know that the owners of the sheepfold are very welcoming and friendly: do not hesitate to taste the cheese they produce.
After having parked your car, you must take the track that leads to the dam: keep walking and feel free to pass through the gate in front of you – please make sure to close it. Then you must turn right towards A Capaighja. Continue walking until you reach a small stream that you should ford: please remember to wear good shoes. Continue along the shady path alongside the river, which will lead you to the fountain of Capaighja. Continue uphill to the Capiaghja sheepfolds (1098 metres above sea level), which is the starting point for more challenging hikes.
