Description
The abandoned village of Pruna, which is surrounded by vegetation, offers a timeless spectacle. This village was founded in the early 18th century by the Biancarelli brothers, but it was completely abandoned by 1935. According to an old legend, a vendetta forced the four Faggianelli brothers to leave their original village (Zicavo) and to reach the region of Porto-Vecchio, where they started calling themselves Biancarelli...
To start this walk, you must take the small path which is located to the left of the transformer. The path climbs through a small wood. When you reach a crossroads, you must turn right to see the first ruins of the abandoned village of Pruna. You can enjoy a breathtaking view, in particular if you climb up the red rocks overlooking the sea.
