Presentation
Tomino is a village with a genuine character and a rich architectural heritage. In Tomino you will find two Genoese towers built in the 16th and 17th centuries and several remarkable buildings, such as the church of St Nicholas (17th century).
This walk around the hamlets of Tomino is thought to discover the amazing panoramic points of the village.

Road access
The road-trip from Bastia to Tomino takes 47 minutes for 41.4 kilometres. You must take the D 80 road and then the D 353 one. You can park your car in the car park next to the church of St Nicolas in Stopione.

Itinerary
From the church car park you must walk for a moment along the D 353 road. After a few minutes walking, you will reach the main road of the hamlet: keep walking until you reach the car park of the town hall. This hamlet is the belvedere of Tomino and offers a breathtaking view of Macinaghju, of the islands of Finocchiarola, Capraia, Gorgona and of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
Continue downhill, leave the hamlet of Stopione and take the path which will take you to the hamlet of Valle –  you can also take a detour and reach the chapel of St Anthony, which is located on a beautiful panoramic spot.
To return to the starting point, you must continue walking until you reach the D 353 road and the church square.
