Located north of the Bouches de Bonifacio Nature Reserve, Tamaricciu is an emblematic site for the beauty and diversity of its natural environment. The heart of this small site is a rocky point of red porphyry, the Punta Columbara, on which are backed the ends of two large beaches of very fine sand, the Palombaggia and the Tamaricciu-Acciaju beach. Tamaricciu is a fragile site preserved by the Conservatoire du Littoral.
Description : The hike is a one-hour loop which goes around the point by the coastal path, crossing different environments, such as maquis, red rocks, umbrella pines, and white sand beaches.
