From the Col of St Anthony you must take the D 70 road towards the village of Évisa and Cristinacce. Then you must turn right and take the road D 156 towards Letia. Continue driving for about one kilometre and park your car near a small bridge. Please be careful not to obstruct traffic, in particular during the summer season.
From the car park you must take a small path on the right bank. This path will help you reach the natural pools: you will reach your destination in less than one minute. The first natural pools are punctuated by small waterfalls and are easily accessible on foot. If you feel like walking then you could walk along the stream to discover other natural pools, one more beautiful than the other. If you do not feel like walking, then you can sunbathe on the smooth lichen-covered rocks on which you can lie.
The stream of A Catena is not very popular with tourists: its natural pools are perfect for those who are finding for peace and quiet. But if you have children you must pay attention because the small waterfalls can be dangerous. Near the bridge you will also find a path that will lead you to the Arca di a Catena, which is a natural rock arch from which you can contemplate the homonymous valley. This place has been used as a dumping ground for too many years: please remember take all your rubbish back.
