Description
This is an easy hiking trail. The path goes through undergrowth and near a stream: for this reason the temperature is quite pleasant, even during the summer period.
To reach the starting point, you must cross the first bridge on foot and continue walking: the path starts on the left bank of the stream of Aitione. This path is very well maintained and during the walk you will run into several illustrative panels thought to allow you to discover more about the flora and fauna of Corsica.
The Zaglia bridge is classified historical monument and was built at the end of the 18th century by master mason Antonio Bensa to facilitate the transhumance. Near the bridge you will find several panels thought to help you discover the history of the bridge and the technique with which it was built.
If you love walking you can continue towards Évisa, but pay attention because the difficulty of the path increases considerably.
Go back along the same itinerary.
