The bridge of Piconca is located on the D 757 road between the village of Olivese and the village of Guitera-les-Bains. You will find a car park near the bridge.
This bridge hides a natural pool which is well known to the inhabitants of the valley, but little known to tourists because the path to reach this natural pool is a bit challenging.
After parking your car, you must take the path starting to the right of the bridge. Be careful because the vegetation could hide the path: you should wear a good pair of walking shoes. Continue walking until you cross two path – now you must turn left and continue for about a hundred metres. Between the path and the watercourse you can see a large rock whose form recalls an animal's head. Keep walking until you reach the Taravo.
You will find several natural pools, but you should know that the Taravo is quite impetuous because there are several small waterfalls. Sport lovers could be walking along the river to discover other natural pools. If you have children then you should be very careful because the access is not easy and the waterfalls make the river impetuous.
