Road access

From the T 10 road you must take the D 45 towards the village of Ventiseri. Then you must take the D 645 towards the village of Chisa. Continue driving for about five kilometres until you will reach the bridge of Gineparu: you can park your car just after the bridge.

Description

The Travo river has its source at an altitude of 1743 metres and flows directly into the Tyrrhenian Sea, between the village of Ventiseri and the village of Solaro. This thirty-two-kilometre-long waterway is home to wonderful natural pools where you can find shelter from the summer heat.
It is possible to discover the Travo by taking a water walk but you must have the right equipment: a waterproof bag, a swimming costume or a wetsuit, a waterproof rope and some carabiners...
The Gineparu bridge overlooks a deep natural pool which is directly accessible from the bridge. This pool is the ideal place for a refreshing swim and for some healthy and well-deserved rest: you will find several rocks where you can sunbathe in peace and quiet. Sport lovers can enjoy diving into the natural pool and children can swim and play in complete safety. There are other natural pools upstream from the bridge: if you love walking do not hesitate to explore the region!
