From Ajaccio you must take the T 20 road towards Bastia and then, about one kilometre before reaching the A Cupullata nature reserve, you must take the D 129 towards Carbuccia. You can park near the bridge but be careful not to obstruct traffic, in particular during the summer season.
Near the Carbuccia bridge you will find a large beach where you can have a great time with your friends or with your family. This beach is quite large and offers shady and sunny areas. You could sunbathe or take a nap in peace and quiet: you will find some smooth rocks where you can lie back.
You will have no problem reaching your destination: you must take the path which is located right next to the Carbuccia bridge. You will reach the beach and the natural pool of Carbuccia in less than a two-minute walk.
The natural pool is quite deep: do not hesitate to take a swim to cool off during the hottest hours! You should know that during the summer season this spot is very popular with tourists and locals because it is easy to reach and perfect for families with children. If you feel like walking then you should walk along the river to find other natural pools which are less known by tourists: the Gravona offers beautiful natural pools where it is very pleasant to bathe in cool water, in particular during the summer season.
