Access by car
The meeting point is in Albertacce, located in the Niolu, south of the village of Calacuccia, by means of the D84 which connects Francardu to Portu, through a very beautiful tourist route. The start of the trail is at the south exit of the village, near the cross.

Itinerary
The path is between two low stone walls. After about 15 minutes of walking, you'll arrive in front of a bar, but you don't have to get past it. Go to its left along the stream, and then cross it. You'll arrive at the Saint Antoine oratory, and at a Genoese bridge next to an old mill. You can cool off in the Valdellu before closing the hike loop, whose return point is not signalled. Follow the marked trail for a short time, and leave it by taking a left on another path. You will reach, after 5 minutes of walk, a small pass and will spot a rock shaped like a dog's head. Then descend in the thicket by identifying the departmental road below. Join the departmental road after crossing the Golo, and return to Albertacce.
