Road access
From Ajaccio, you must drive towards the village of Bastelicaccia (road T 21 and road T 40) and then you must take the road D 3. Continue on this road for about thirty minutes: you will have no problem to find your destination because there are a lot of street signs.
You will find a car park next to the paillote and the nautical centre of the lake.
Description
Less than an hour from Ajaccio and from the sea, the lake of Tolla represents the ideal place for all those who want to enjoy a breathtaking scenery which combines calm, well-being, sport and "dolce farniente". This lake, which is located at an altitude of 530 metres and which was built between 1958 and 1960, is well equipped to welcome locals and tourists who want to spend a quiet day in the midst of nature.
From the nautical centre you can rent a canoe, a kayak or a pedal boat... If you like fishing, then you should know that this lake is home to many species of freshwater fish such as carps, catfish, pikes and roaches. You can also hire a small fishing boat.
Near the lake you will find the Genoese bridge of Zipitoli (dating back to the 16th century), built to connect the village of Bastelica to the city of Ajaccio.
