Road access
The road-trip from Sartène to Foce takes 23 minutes for 17.9 kilometres. You must take the road D 48 and the D 65 one.
You can park your car after an isolated house, about one hundred metres from the starting point (hamlet of Chialza).

Description
This short walk will allow you to discover the ruins of the castellu of Baricci, which dates to the 13^th century. From the castellu of Baricci (519 metres above sea level), you can also enjoy a breathtaking view of the valley of Ortolu: remember to take your camera!
The walk is quite easy but you should pay attention because the path is often overgrown with weeds.
If you have parked your car after the isolated house, you must go back and open the gate which is located just above the isolated house. Take the path in front of you but pay attention to the vegetation. Keep walking until you reach a relatively cleared area. The path descends to your right: watch out for brambles and continue walking through the undergrowth to the south.
At the level of a ruined house, do not hesitate to pass through the opening in the fence wall and continue walking to leave this house behind you on the right. From this point the path climbs rather steeply until it reaches the castellu of Baricci.
