Road access

From the city of Ajaccio, you must take the T 21 road and then the T 20 one towards Corte. Just before the nature reserve A Cupulatta you will find the paillote Andréa, which is right next to the Gravona river. You will have no problem to park your vehicle because the paillote has a private car park.
The road-trip from Ajaccio to the paillote Andréa takes 27 minutes for 21.3 kilometres.

Description

The Gravona has its source at an altitude of 2110 metres and it flows from the centre of the island southwest to the Gulf of Ajaccio, it is 46.4 kilometres long. The paillote Andréa was built right next to the banks of the Gravona river, near a well-equipped private beach (beach volleyball and football fields, table tennis). This place is very beautiful and it is perfect for families with children. The Gravona is calm and crystal-clear: children could swim in complete safety and you could sunbathe or take a nap in peace and quiet. During the summer season, the owners of the paillote organise various events: poker tournaments, karaoke, dance evenings...
The paillote Andréa is perfect for locals and tourists who want have fun. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place, then you should go elsewhere.... Fortunately for you, the Gravona river hosts several natural pools, some of which are not well known neither by tourists nor by locals!
