Road access

From Saint-Florent, you must take the D 80 road towards the peninsula of Cap Corse. You must leave behind you the village of Nonza and drive towards Ogliastro and Olcani. Continue driving until you will see a bridge: just before this bridge you can park your car at the edge of the road but please be careful not to obstruct traffic, in particular during the summer season.

Description

Ogliastro is home to several architectural treasures like the chapel of St Rock, the chapel of St Dominic, the chapel of St Michael and the Guadu Grande mill, which has been out of use for many years. Ogliastro is an excellent starting point for many excursions because it is part of two natural areas of ecological, faunal and floristic interest.
To reach the natural pool of Ogliastro you must take a walk of about ten minutes starting from the road. You should go down towards the sea and then walk along the main road for about a hundred metres until you will see a small path which you must take to reach your destination. It is a short easy walk but pay attention not to slip because the path is quite steep. After having reached the stream continue walking for few metres to reach the natural pool of Ogliastro!
