Description
This walk is perfect for families with children and will allow you to discover the chapel of St Gavinu, a saint of Sardinian origin who was very popular in Corsica during the Middle Ages. This chapel, which is located on a small hill which overlooks a stream, stands on a more ancient archaeological site which was frequented during prehistoric and protohistoric times.
Thanks to this walk you will discover the Corsican scrub and you will observe the typical fauna and flora of this region. You can also enjoy an exceptional view over the sea and the mountains of the island. During this walk you could see various sheepfolds: pay attention because animals could be a bit aggressive if disturbed.
