Road access
The road-trip from Corte to Asco takes 56 minutes for 52.2 kilometres. You must take the T 20 road and the D 147 one. Asco is located at 128.3 km from Ajaccio and at 73 km from Bastia.
The starting point of this walk is located at the Genoese bridge at the exit of the village. You can reach the Genoese bridge by car.

Description
After having parked your car, do not hesitate to cross the Genoese bridge to reach the starting point of the walk. At the beginning the path allows you to run alongside the Asco, but after you must take the path which allows you to overlook the Pinara stream.
This walk takes you through a chestnut wood where you can see the ruins of several sheepfolds and some low walls. Then the path climbs a little steeper and becomes rockier: you must wear good shoes to reach the waterfall of Ascu. After a series of ups and downs you will reach a source of water that you must leave behind you.
At 855 metres above sea level the path crosses the Pinara stream – you must cross the stream and continue walking. Then do not hesitate to cross the stream a second time. The waterfall of Ascu is located a few metres to your right, at 933 metres above sea level.
