The Gravona river in the Richjusa gorges is a popular bathing point, but is often very busy in summer, due to the canyoning activities which are organized in the gorges.
Several bathing spots are accessible on foot, from the car park, following a path that goes down to the riverbed. The parking lot of the Richjusa Gorges is indicated after the village of Bocognano by a sign.
On the road, observe the landscape when you cross the Vizzavona pass.

Access from Ajaccio
Take the N193 towards Bastia and turn on the D129 after about 1 km (at the turtle park). After 250m, you reach the Carbuccia bridge where you can park your vehicle.

Itinerary
Before the bridge, a path goes down on the right side to the bathing area.
