The church San Michele de Murato is built in a typical Pisan architecture from the time when Corsica was ruled by Pisa.
Dating back to 1140, the variety of tones of the facade is due to the use of different types of stone (limestone for white, serpentine for green tones), as you can see in Tuscany. The church was consecrated in 1280.
