The Fortin museum occupies a building with a rich historical past of more than three centuries. On the island of Ischia Novasitué at the north end of Biguglia, the museum  has opened its doors to the public since October 2011 following extensive renovations. The museum is dedicated to the protection and enhancement of the heritage of the largest wetland in Corsica.
