Presentation of the estate:
When in the 60s Jean-Pierre Orenga de Gaffory (grandson of Louis Napoléon Mattei, creator of the famous Cap Corse Mattei), decided to create an estate, he chose the Patrimonio lands.
He believed in the virtues of this land. The future has proven him right because today, the estate is undoubtedly one of the most important in the Appellation area and its wines enjoy a reputation that has extended far beyond the borders of our island.
The estate covers 65 hectares, 55 of which are used for production. The success of Domaine Orenga is the result of a beautiful alchemy combining the traditional vine cultivation and the mastery of modern vinification tools. Passionate about contemporary art, the owner regularly opens his cellar to artists, so you can regularly enjoy painting, photo, or even cinema exhibitions.
