Presentation of the estate:
Created in the 1930s by Gino Lazzarini, the estate is the result of the consecutive purchase of land plots. Run since 1985 by the Lazzarini brothers, it is made up of three different lots. One is located near the village of Casta, at the gateway to the Agriates desert, the others not far from St Florent. Restructured since 1985, they are planted with traditional varieties of the Patrimonio Appellation: Malvasia, Nielluccio and Muscat Petit Grain.
Located at the entrance of the Patrimonio area, the aging cellar has a stainless-steel vat room allowing a good control of the vinification and a nicely furnished tasting cellar. The Lazzarini brothers offer a nice wine range and are especially successful in the production of white and Muscat wine. All these wines can be tasted in the Patrimonio tasting cellar, but also in the Corsican goods shop which they run in the center of Saint-Florent.
Beyond this qualification confirming the richness of the terroir, it is worth highlighting the quality of the care taken by the Lazzarini brothers in the winemaking process and in the management of the vines.
Their drive and know-how are inspired by the spirit of Gino Lazzarini, who in the 1930s put his knowledge of grafting processes at the service of the Patrimonio winemakers. At that time, he was far from suspecting that 70 years later his children would produce wines regularly praised by the greatest oenologists.
