Presentation of the wines : This property, which originally belonged to the Dorias, an old Genoese family, developed from the end of the 18th century under the influence of Bishop Monsignor Doria. Several owners came one after another until Ange-Louis Angeli acquired it in 1952. Nowadays, it is his son Michel Angeli who runs it. Oriented to the south and exposed to the purifying sea breezes, the vines are planted with Corsican grape varieties (Muscat, Vermentinu, Niellucciu, Codiverta) and Aleatico (grape variety from the Elba Island). Of the 15 hectares of the property, 10 are devoted to vines. The wines produced at the estate stand out for their quality and regularity, two essential criteria thanks to which their reputation has extended in recent years far beyond the shores of our island. In addition to the excellent Muscat, praised several times in the Guide du Vin Corse, Michel Angeli and his daughter produce a 7-year-old blend, vinified like the Muscat but with some Grenache, Aleatico and a few stalks. This exceptional product which does not benefit from the AOC, was awarded four stars by the tasting committee of the Corsican wine guide. Once again this year, we can say that the entire range of wines from the estate does justice to the appellation.
