Presentation of the estate:
Founded in 1880, the estate was entirely replanted by Xavier Massimi, the great-grandfather of Laurent Le Stunff, the current owner, shortly before the Phylloxera crisis.
It was then restructured from 1920 onwards. Located by the sea, the farm benefits from a cleansing sea breeze and perfect exposure.
It is planted with Nielluccio, Grenache, Vermentino, Muscat Petit Grain and a little Sciaccarello, a southern grape variety which in this limestone terroir found a nice Cap Corsin accent. A trained oenologist, Laurent has a passion for a job well done. A passion that he knows how to communicate through his wines. These wines are of extremely high quality and are admired by our friend Pierre Casamayor of the Guide Hubert and of the "Revue des Vins de France". Besides shining for their quality, the wines of the Domaine Catarelli also show great regularity. A regularity that comes a long way, since the wine obtained the first gold medal of all time, awarded to the Patrimonio in 1950. The cellar has a very elegant tasting room, making it possible to cope with the flow of wine lovers who literally take the wines by storm with each vintage.
