Presentation of the estate: Some trips have a major impact on your life... An experience in California changed Dominique Rossi's approach to his profession, "especially in the organization of the wine company", the current owner of Domaine Aliso Rossi specifies. For several years, the winemaker, assisted by his oenology engineer wife Sophie, has been making use of the old vines of his grandfather. Sophie and Dominique's passion and taste for innovation have gradually transformed these lands, located in the heart of the Cap-Corse Patrimonio and Muscat Appellation area, into an exceptional vineyard. Standing on perfectly sunny sloping hillsides, the vines benefit from a remarkably diverse terroir: some plots are close to the sea, others to the mountains... The soils here are schistose and, further away, rich in clay or limestone... This diversity generates a range of wines with subtle and intense perfumes, some of which are as precious as a work of art! The aptly named “Cuvée des Artistes”, illustrated each year by a Corsican painter or sculptor, is thus a collectors' vintage, which regularly receives awards! The endemic grape varieties Nielluccio, Vermentino and Muscat à petits grains are cultivated in the purest tradition. “Obviously, we wish to constantly modernize the estate… but our cultivation techniques have remained traditional. This is what allows us to obtain these incomparable wines." To be discovered directly on the estate or in the Saint-Florent tasting cellar...
