Road access
The road-trip from Ajaccio to Piana takes 1 hour and 37 minutes. You must take the road D 81 and the D 824 one.
After having reached the village of Piana, you must continue driving in the direction of Porto until you reach the small parking lot which is located four kilometres from Piana, near the dog's head. You can park here, but please pay attention not to obstruct the traffic.

Description
From the parking lot you must cross the road to reach the starting point of this short walk. The path is well marked and well maintained: you must follow the yellow markers until you reach the belvedere which overlooks the castle and the sea.
Go back along the same itinerary.
This walk, which will allow you to discover the typical undergrowth of the island, is very easy and is perfect for families with children. Please remember that you must always wear good shoes: there are two or three steep passages and the path can be slippery.
