Corscia is a municipality in Niolo, which according the last census of 2017 had 129 inhabitants. Its territory covers an area of 58.99 km2, with 1,232 hectares of woodland. It is surrounded by high mountains through which the Golo river flows in the wild gorges of Scala di Santa Régina. To the north, the sides of the mountain are covered by the Liccioghia forest, and to the far south Corscia shares the territorial forest of Melo with Corte and Calacuccia.
Corscia is 840 meters above sea level ; it is a village of shepherds with multiple hamlets : Costa and Cavallararacce constitute the heart of the village, but there are also Pantanacce, Nunziata, Pruno, Solaro, Piana and Cuccia.
The village has two magnificent canyons, and thanks to its remarkable mountain territory, hiking, canyoning and climbing activities are offered in Corscia.
