Coggia is located in southern Corsica, 48 km north of Ajaccio. This town belongs to the old pieve of Sorroingiù, in the Deux-Sorru region, and stretches from the sea to the mountains on 3,500 hectares, with its 15 km of coastline and very beautiful beaches.

Coggia is worth visiting for several reasons. On the one hand for its mountains, a succession of several small mountain hamlets, the oldest of which date back to the Middle Ages, Vedolaccia, Cerasa, Casanova, Coggia-Maio and Crucciate. There are no less than 5 chapels and a church.
On the other hand for its maritime side, with Penisola, Esigna and Sagone which offer sandy beaches and turquoise waters, like in Santana.
