Presentation of the estate:
Located near the Désert des Agriates, this vineyard consists of 43 contiguous hectares, which justifies its title of "Clos" (enclosed vineyard). Benefiting from the proximity to the sea and its cleansing breezes, the vines are cultivated without fertilizers and pesticides. The vineyard benefits from a complex geological structure of granitic sand.
It is planted with Nielluccio, Grenache, Vermentino and, a rare thing in the Patrimonio area, Sciaccarello, a grape which gives peppery aromas to the reds. Founded by Joseph Poli in 1969, the Clos was taken over by his daughter Marie Brigitte.
A worthy representative of a profession and of the increasing female presence in the Appellation, Marie Brigitte equipped her cellar with a modern stainless steel vat room. The Clos white and rosé were certainly not ignored by wine lovers and this year they prove again that their quality is still high. All these wines can now be tasted in the estate's new and elegant tasting cellar, located in the rue Principale in Saint-Florent.
