Presentation of the estate:
Located in the heart of the Conca d'Oro, in the municipality of Poggio d'Oletta, a stone's throw from the small Romanesque chapel of San Quilico, the property is one of the oldest in the region. The 35 hectares of Clos San Quilico, which were recently restructured, form a homogeneous whole.
They enjoy a microclimate and winds that naturally protect them from grapevine diseases. The vineyard, located on clay-limestone soil containing bank gravel, is planted with traditional grape varieties of the Patrimonio Appellation: Vermentino, Nielluccio, and Muscat Petit Grain.
The harvest is entirely manual, and the vinification carried out by the Orenga de Gaffory cellar. Harvested at full maturity, the Clos San Quilico grapes produce wines of great quality and consistency.
