Presentation of the estate:
Clos Paoli is a small 4-hectare vineyard in the town of Morsiglia, located on the western side of Cap Corse and swept by the Libecciù wind. The vineyard is made up of 5 plots: Stanti, Mucchietta, Pozzu, Murtulone, and Spartita, all planted on the hillside. Benefiting from optimal sunshine, gentle slopes which avoid the stagnation of water at the feet of the vines during the autumn rains and plunging towards the sea, the vine, naturally ventilated, is exceptionally healthy: the last epidemic of Philloxera dates to the 1900s! Their winemaking methods combine modernity and tradition: thermo-regulated stainless steel vat rooms, oak barrels and tanks well as the presence of the terraces of the family house to dry the Muscat, Rappu and Impassitu in the old-fashioned way ("passerillage"). Thanks to the maximum exposure of the plots to the sun and the sea spray and to the special attention we pay to each bunch, as only a small farm can do, they offer clients their wines hoping they will like them...
