Presentation of the estate:
Founded in 1850 by Dominique Nicrosi, the estate was taken over in 1959 by his great-grandsons and grandsons Toussaint and Paul Luigi. Currently it is managed by Jean-Noël, Paul's son, and his children Marine and Sébastien. The proximity to the sea keeps the temperatures down and the permanent wind prevents the development of diseases. The vineyard consists of 5 hectares of Vermentino, 3 and a half hectares of Muscat Petit Grain, and the rest devoted to Nielluccio, Sciaccarello, Aleatico and Grenache. The reputation of the whites and the Muscat of Clos Nicrosi is well known. The wines are aged in the 19th-century family home and can be bought at the point of sale in Macinaggio.
