Presentation of the estate:
Founded in 1988, Clos de Sarcone occupies an area of 5 hectares divided into 2 plots: l'Arghjale and Sarcone. Remarkably exposed to the south-east, its slopes and semi-slopes are planted with Sciaccarello, Nielluccio, and Vermentino. Benefiting from drying sea breezes, treatments are limited, especially since plowing and weeding are carried out on the rows.
Jean Ferracci, the current owner, owes his love for the land to his grandfather Gjuvann, a "di i tempi" (old-fashioned) winemaker.
So, when he decided to dedicate himself agriculture, Jean resolutely turned to the vine, a crop that does not need water and which can give the winegrower great satisfaction.
While the first harvests took place in 1993, the first bottling had to wait for 1997.  One more success in this appellation, which has had quite a few.
Driven by a great passion, Jean Ferracci offers elegant and powerful wines.
