From San Gavino di Fium'Orbu, take the direction of Isolacciu di Fium'Orbu. Near the fountain of Vaccina, on the left, a sign indicates the departure of the path. Park the vehicle and follow the signs. Possibility of swimming.

On the RN 198 one kilometer south exit, at the Migliacciaru roundabout take the direction Prunelli di Fium'Orbu, at the roundabout of Abbazia, take the D45 then left the D445 towards San Gavinu di Fium'Orbu . In San Gavinu, you can park your vehicle and begin your hike by heading to Isulacciu di Fiumorbu to the hamlet of Bruschiccia, more precisely to the fountain of Vaccina located on the left. A sign and markers have been placed here to guide the hiker. The path crosses a chestnut grove, you can see a pig pen. After crossing the stream of Bughja, a climb is needed to reach a sheep shelter. Then follow the path lined with a wall, it will lead you after a short descent to the bottom of the valley, at the foot of the waterfall, an ideal place for a picnic break.

In the heart of the chestnut forest, a steep path will take you to the waterfall of the bughja (the word bughju: darkness) a small tributary of the Abateco. With its 70m high, this waterfall is visible from afar including the road that leads to the village. The long white trail she draws on the mountain is particularly impressive in winter, where the water is the most abundant.
With a height of 100m, the cascade of Buja (Piscia di Bughja) is one of the highest in Corsica. At its foot is a basin where it is nice to cool off and on the rocks, you can bask.
